Description

OPEAK's ASE Module is a high performance, high power, low cost and reliable incoherent source for optical sensing, optical testing and optical coherent tomography. It could produce a broadband output spectrum of Amplified Spontaneous Emission ranging from 1525-1565 nm. The ASE technology, developed at OPEAK, offers high power (7dBm/10dBm/13dbm), low DOP (typ. < 5 %), low extinction ratio (typ. < 0.5 dB), high spectrum stability (max.50ppm) and temperature stability for the most demanding ASE application. In addition, high flatness output spectrum product is available, typical value better than 1.5 dB.
